Topper Northern Championships 23rd-24th August

Welcome to our page for the Topper Northerns 2025 at Quoile Yacht Club, here you will find useful information about the event. We’re thrilled to be welcoming all the Topper Sailors, both near and far, for what promises to be a fantastic weekend on the water and great camaraderie ashore.

The event is open to boats of the International Topper Class using a 5.3 or 4.2 sail.

The Helm must be a member of the Irish Topper Class Association or other Topper class association.

Eligible boats may enter by completing the entry form and paying here (entry fees are £65.00):

To be considered an entry at an event, a boat shall complete all registration requirements and pay all fees.

Boats should enter before midnight on Wednesday 20th August 2025. Late entries will be accepted only in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the Organising Authority.

A 60-boat limit applies on entries. This may be increased at the discretion of the OA.

Registration Friday 22nd August 2025 from 1900 to 2030 and Saturday 23rd August 2025 from 0900 to 1030. The briefing will be held at 1030 on Saturday 23rd August 2025.

A FREE training day is available on Friday 22nd August, led by Liam Glynn (IS Performance Coach) and his team.

Please note that space on site is limited and we would therefore request that all support ribs are launched before 9.30 on Saturday 23rd August.

The club are running a BBQ on Saturday night which will be charged separately at the time. Please indicate numbers on the online entry form.

If you require space for a motor home or tent, please contact our event organiser Harry Crosby (see NoR for contact details) and we will try to accommodate if possible.
